From the very first straight, the gap was clear between the classes.

Every class had it's own battle. If there were 5 cars in every class, it would be definitely more interesting.

THG-sonam8246 and chrr1rn12 fighting, while micha-stark made a fair and clear move to let them pass.

3 classes mixed. huasee, THG-IsaacIII, THG-sonam8246 and micha-stark in one corner. There weren't touches, and every driver enjoyed the moment.

huasee from GT-1 class, let's THG-sonam8246 from LMP class pass easily by making a fair move and created space for him. This is a perfect example of how the passes between different classes should be done.

TEST RACE Results:

SuperGT class:
1. micha-stark
2. THG-IsaacIII

The race was fine and we tested every possible scenario.

Now, after the TEST RACE, i saw that many drivers had problems with the assists, and cars were uncontrollable. We prefer the joy of it, so if you think we should 'turn ON' some assists please comment. The next races will have rain, so think of it, and we'll decide of which assists should be available for the league races.

last suggestion for today:
for interesting further racers in the GT1 class we should have some more competetive cars.
-or to find a kind of balance (min. kg ?)

Well, first of all, again, Mano, a big thank you for creating and working out this event. We must print a little booklet if we want to have all the info hard copy. Great idea (well, I think, I was the first to ever talk about the 2,4 hours of LE MANS, but hey...that is only TALK) and you made a great effort in putting THG on the map, this time with a mature event. My "THG SUNDAY CUP"...well...you know what I mean. There is not much to print in a booklet about that. Fun events for sure, but the THG 24h SIM LEAGUE is another cup of tea. Thank you again.

Secondly, I am very glad that I got GT-Racing-cz-MSM to race with us. I know Michael for a year now, and I think he is topgun, worldclass. I once saw him being P3 on a TT. P3 of the world that is. A real champion. Together with the THG and GTT/PS3GL champs, we have some competition I think. I am glad to see that there are so much drivers accepting your invite.

Thirdly, well, I enjoyed the TEST RACE. I really thought I had a chance, most of all since I was the only one at first in the SUPER GT class. When Micha switched to that class too, well, you know how that ended. Micha is a little bit too fast for me and my Honda Weider.

Still, enjoyed being in the TEST RACE, exciting, it has got a special touch to it, this event. What a creation.

I hope I can stay out of everybody's way in the first race. March 1st?

Yes Manu thank you! I know that already! But these dates are what i had to choose. There are a few choises. 1) we move this race as the last race, after motegi 2) we make the race a few days before or after this date or 3) we move this race 1 week later.

But it's a little bit early now. We have 4 races before that. Of course some actions will be taken, but not from now. If you have any suggestions, please post it here and the decision will be announced with an 'Edit' at the Original Post. Thank you!

Friday 01/03/2013

THG 24h SIM LEAGUE - RACE 1

Circuit De la Sarthe 2009 (with chicanes)

Laps: 40
Lobby open: 20:00 (GMT+1)
Race starts: 20:40 (GMT+1)

So in this (1st) race and also in the coming races, we'll use the FORMATION LAP start. It has been decided during the TEST RACE.

Some info about it:

At the start we'll drive normally, but with speed limit 120 km/h or 75 mph. 1st guy from LMP will lead, and the others will create a line behind him. The other drivers, should stay behind him, and not overtake during formation lap. Due to heavy damages, drive safe and avoid any contact.

When we reach the last chicane of the track, we'll limit our speed to 60 km/h or 40 mph, or else we can press the 'start' button. We'll drive in this speed untill the start line.
IMPORTANT! When EACH driver pass through the start line will go full throttle. Not when 1st car pass through it.

Here i give you some photos explaining the Braking Area in this track for the formation lap!

The white part of the track is where we limit our speed to 60km/h or 40 mph.

This is the exact spot in the track where we all brake at 60 km/h or 40 mph. (The end of the blue part on the side of the track)

Here i show you that we have to drive in this speed until the end of the lap and when each of us cross the Start/Finish line, can drive full throttle.

There are no more informations needed to write in this post, as the drivers already know the rules, the settings and everything. (Check the Original Post)
If you want to ask anything, please post it here and i'll reply to you very soon.
Also, i'd like to know who's going to come or not. Please post it here as well.

Well i know Manu! I saw myself that the grid is not full, but i have to wait till the confirmed (for the whole season) drivers confirm, and i'll talking about neur-phil, chrr1rn12 and staffi! Then i have to talk with the Wildcard drivers and see if they can replace a driver in the race. It will be happen today with a PM. Also, 1 place for GT-1 will be empty anyway (as huasee will be missing) but i have one driver in mind who's interested. Only thing i need at first is the guys from here to confirm their participation. Thank you.
